The Amazonite belongs to the sacred stones of the Indians, considered valuable by almost all indigenous peoples as a stone of adornment and healing.

It is a stone of the feldspar group, with perfect hardness for lapidation and use in jewelry.

The most important deposits are in the USA, Brazil and Madagascar.
