Druse is a term used in Mineralogy that defines a flat surface covered by crystals. This crystalline formation is typical of agates. The Druse has a distinctive aspect, which gives us the impression of having several crystals glued together, when in fact, it is a single stone.
Druses can be coated by a metal application, creating a metallic effect on the surface of the gem, which further enhances its luster. A high-tech enhancement, using a vacuum chamber, metals bind to the mineral producing vivid and metallic colors, a process known as metallization.
Mysticism says drusas are self-energizing stones, that is, they accumulate energy on their own and their function is to make us understand the processes of ups and downs that we face in life. It is a stone that structures the soul.
